WE'RE HIRING: INSHORE MEMBER REPRESENTATIVE

FFAW-Unifor is seeking a Member Representative to service members in the Inshore Fishery sector. This is a full time, permanent position. Reporting to FFAW-Unifor Management, the Member Representative is the front line point of contact for harvesters. This position is responsible for the communication, analysis and advocacy on fisheries management issues, collective bargaining, negotiations, conducting membership meetings, participation on fisheries stock assessments and advisory meetings and building union solidarity amongst FFAW-Unifor members.
