RESULTS OF EXECUTIVE BOARD NOMINATION PERIOD; GLYNN ACCLAIMED AS NEW SEC-TREAS

The nomination period for the two Executive Board vacancies (by-elections) closed last Friday, August 7 at 4:00PM, and the FFAW’s Elections Committee met this morning to review nomination forms received.  The outcome of the review is as follows:

Secretary-Treasurer: One (1) nominee – Sherry Glynn was cleared as an eligible candidate, and is acclaimed as the new Secretary Treasurer.  As per the constitution, Sherry will be sworn in at the next Executive Board meeting. 

Executive Board Non-Fish: Two (2) nominees – both cleared as eligible candidates. An election (electronic voting process) will be held with the two candidates – Chelsea Dicks (Ramada) and Mark Fudge (Molson). Details of this elections process including opening and closing dates will be shared in the coming days.
