TERRA NOVA FPSO COVERPLATE RECOVERY

Suncor, using the MV Fairlane, will recover the cover plate from the Terra Nova FPSO which has been stored in the water at quayside in Bull Arm since 2023. The Fairlane will lift the cover plate onto the vessel on Monday (May 5) and will transit to Argentia. The cover plate will be on the vessel. When it arrives in Argentia (May 6-7), the cover plate will be lifted off the Fairlane and will be stored onshore. It will not be put in the water in Argentia. The Fairlane has issued notice to the Coast Guard and we have been in contact with DFO, ECCC and Transport Canada.
