3O Mobile Gear Redfish Fishery Opening
DFO advises that the 3O Mobile Gear Redfish fishery will open at 0600 hours on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, for the less than 65′ mobile gear fleet, vessel classes C150, C151, C175, and C176.
The 2024 quota for this fishery is 1,086 t.
Conditions of license are available through the National Online Licensing System (NOLS).
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2023-306 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-009 comes into effect on March 6, 2024.
