Fixed Gear Capelin Fishery Closing in a Portion of White Bay (Capelin Fishing Area 3)
DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using fixed gear will close on July 9, 2024 at 2200 hours in the following area:
White Bay (Capelin Fishing Area 3):
Cape Fox to Hampden, Inclusive
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2024-120 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-122 comes into effect at 1800 hours on July 9, 2024.
