Reminder: DFO INSHORE FISHERY OUTREACH MEETINGS (NAFO DIVISONS 3KL)
The Department of Fisheries and Oceans would like to remind that in-person Outreach meetings will be held throughout the Region in the coming weeks.
The intent of these meetings is to provide inshore harvesters and other interested stakeholders an opportunity to discuss matters of concern with respect to the various inshore fisheries.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
Monday, February 12, 2024 – Clarenville, Clarenville Inn: 1:00-3:00pm
Tuesday, February 13, 2024 – Bay Roberts, Avalon Search and Rescue: 1:00-3:00pm
Wednesday, February 14, 2024- Trepassey, Social Centre: 10:00am-12:00pm
Tuesday, February 27, 2024 – Lumsden, Lumsden Town Hall : 1:00-3:00pm
Wednesday, February 28, 2024 – Springdale, Springdale Inn and Suites: 6:00-8:00pm
A meeting for St. Anthony will be scheduled at a later date.
Please note that there will be Virtual Meetings also scheduled at a later date for those unable to attend in-person meetings.
Additional meetings are planned for residents of NAFO divisions 4R3P. Locations and dates will be released in the near future.
