Unit 1 Redfish Opening
DFO advises the Redfish fishery in division 4R for vessel classes C52 to C78, C367 to C368, C488 to C510, C2273 to C2293, C2922 to C2924 will open 0001 hours EDT August 15, 2024 and close March 31, 2025 at 2359 hours EDT.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2024-206 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-208 comes into effect at 1600 hours on August 12, 2024.
