Reminder: Mobile Gear Purse Seine Herring Fisheries Closed
DFO reminds harvesters that herring fisheries in Herring Fishing Areas (HFAs) 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10 for mobile gear purse seine are closed.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2024-332 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-334 comes into effect at 2359 hours on December 31, 2024.
