Fixed Gear Capelin Fishery Closing In Portion of Notre Dame Bay (Capelin Fishing Area 4)
DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using fixed gear will close on July 22, 2024 at 2000 hours in the following area:
Notre Dame Bay (Capelin Fishing Area 4)
North Head to Dog Bay Point
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2024-143 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-158 comes into effect at 1600 hours on July 22, 2024.
