ATLANTIC HALIBUT FISHERY OPENING IN DIVISION 4R – QUEBEC BASED VESSELS
DFO advises that the Atlantic Halibut fishery in NAFO Division 4R for Quebec-based vessel classes A520 and A701 to A900 will open at 1500 hours EDT April 1, 2025.
Vessel classes A2343 to A2456 will now close on April 28, 2025 at 2359 hours EDT.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2025-021 has been revoked and Variation Order 2025-24 comes into force at 1600 hours on April 1, 2025.
