3Ps Snow Crab Season Closure for Fishing Area 11 East
DFO advises fish harvesters that the Snow crab fishery in Crab Fishing Area 11 East will close at 2000 hours on Monday July 8, 2024, as the available harvesting cap for this fishery is about to be reached.
All gear must be removed from the water by closing time.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2024-109 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-116 comes into effect on July 6, 2024.
