White Hake Fishery Opening In 3Ps
DFO advises fish harvesters that the Inshore fixed-gear fishery for White Hake in NAFO Sub-Division 3Ps (units a and b) will open at 0600 hours on Monday, May 15, 2023.
DFO advises that the retention of Atlantic halibut bycatch by fixed-gear vessels less than 65 feet directing for White hake in NAFO Sub-Division 3Ps is permitted. By-catch provisions are outlined in harvesters Groundfish General Licence Conditions.
