CALLING ALL COLLECTORS!
2021 is the 50th Anniversary of the Fish, Food and Allied Workers Union. In advance of the 13th Constitutional Convention taking place next month, we’re calling on members to submit old union memorabilia.
There will be THREE prizes available:
1st Prize: $150 Mercer’s Marine Gift Card
2nd Prize: $100 Mercer’s Marine Gift Card
3rd Prize: $50 Mercer’s Marine Gift Card
What type of things are we looking for?
- Old photos (Particularly photos from early days of organizing – 1970s and 1980s, but any pre-2000 photos are welcome)
- Old Union Forum Magazines from the 1970’s
- Any old union swag (SPECIAL PRIZE to anyone who can provide a photo or original “IT STARTED IN BURGEO” Green Bumper Sticker
How to submit:
Take a photo of your submission using a cell phone or feel free to scan to a computer if you have a scanner. Email or text your photos to 709-743-4445 or cglode@ffaw.ca.
