Lumproe rebate of $0.24 to be paid to harvesters

December 20, 2017
12/20/2017

Based on conditions negotiated in the 2017 Lumproe schedule, the end of season rebate amount for harvesters is 24.2 cents per pound. This is in addition to the $1.15 per pound paid as per the price schedule.

While the fishery was hampered by severe ice conditions this year, there were still landings in some areas and this bonus rebate, which is the highest in recent years, is beneficial to inshore harvesters.
