CHANGE TO DATES FOR SHRIMP TRIP LIMITS

March 13, 2026

With the change in closing date for SFA 6 from December 31 to March 31, the dates of the adjustment in trip limits have also changed. The period of April 1 to May 30 is now January 1 to May 30 (these are the trip limits that are currently in place), and September 28 to end of season is now September 28 to December 31.

Last summer, every fleet lifted the caps. However, trip limits remain in place.
