Accepting Applications to conduct Atlantic Halibut Survey/Tagging in Nafo 4R(s)

FFAW is now accepting applications to conduct Atlantic Halibut Survey / Tagging in NAFO Division 4R(S) starting Mid-August through to Mid-October.

Requirements for this Atlantic Halibut Survey / Tagging are:

• 3 Blocks will be available for less than 40ft vessels (block 1 will be available for Labrador based harvesters only, block 2 available for NL harvesters in the straights, and block 8 – St. George’s Bay.)

• 5 blocks will be available for greater than 40 ft vessels (blocks 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7).
