2021 Shrimp Price Negotiations Update

April 29, 2021

April 29, 2021 – The Standing Fish Price Setting Panel released its decision for shrimp today, and it selected the ASP position of an average price of $1.00 per pound. The FFAW-Unifor position was $1.50.

The FFAW does not believe that $1.00 is a fair price for shrimp. We strongly believe that the fair market price is much higher and that the market is improving.

Thank you to the shrimp committee for your work and ideas during a difficult negotiation.
