Fixed Gear Capelin Fishery Opening for Portion of the Southern Shore (Capelin Fishing Area 8C)
DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using fixed gear will open on Sunday, June 23, 2024 at 1200 hours (noon) in that portion of Capelin Fishing Area 8 (Southern Shore) in the following area:
Cape Neddick and Cape Pine
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2024-078 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-091 comes into effect on June 23, 2024.
