Reminder – Fixed Gear Barr and Tuck Seine Herring Fisheries Closed
DFO reminds harvesters that herring fisheries in Herring Fishing Areas (HFAs) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 for fixed gear barr and tuck seine are closed.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2023-289 has been revoked and Variation Order 2023-310 comes into effect at 2359 hours on December 31, 2023.
