14B Committee Unanimously Agrees to Closure Until June 8

June 2, 2020

Under very difficult circumstances, the lobster committee for area 14B held a conference call this afternoon to discuss the next steps for the fishery. The Committee showed unanimous solidarity in voting to immediately cease all lobster fishing in 14B until June 8. This will hopefully allow time for movement in the market to allow buyers to resume purchasing next week.
