Reminder: Fixed Gear Barr and Tuck Seine Herring Fisheries Closed
DFO reminds harvesters that fixed gear herring fisheries in Herring Fishing Areas (HFAs) 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 14 for fixed gear barr and tuck seine are closed.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2024-304 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-328 comes into effect at 2359 hours on December 31, 2024.
