Mobile Gear Herring Fishery Opening in Bonavista Bay, Trinity Bay, Conception Bay and the Southern Shore (HFA 5, 6, 7 and 8)
DFO advises that the Mobile Gear (Purse Seine) Herring fishery will open on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 0600 hours in Bonavista Bay, Trinity Bay, Conception Bay and the Southern Shore (Herring Fishing Areas 5, 6, 7 and 8).
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2025-017 has been revoked and Variation Order 2025-022 will come into force April 2, 2025.
