Mobile Gear Herring Fishery closing for Conception Bay and the Southern Shore (HFA 7 and 8)
DFO advises that the mobile gear herring (purse seine) fishery for Conception Bay and the Southern Shore (Herring Fishing Area 7 and 8) will close at 1400 hours on Monday, December 30, 2024.
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2024-329 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-332 comes into effect at 1300 hours on December 30, 2024.
