Mobile Gear Capelin Fishery Closing in Notre Dame Bay, Bonavista Bay, Trinity Bay and Conception Bay (Capelin Fishing Areas 4, 5, 6 and 7)
DFO advises that the capelin fishery for vessels using mobile gear in Notre Dame Bay, Bonavista Bay, Trinity Bay and Conception Bay (Capelin Fishing Areas 4, 5, 6 and 7) will close on July 12, 2026 at 2200 hours.
