MEMBERSHIP MEETING 3Pn/4R

December 8, 2025

FFAW is looking to interview fish harvesters who fish along the southcoast. Given increasing pressures from conservation groups and industry, we need members help identifying marine areas, for whatever reason, that must be prioritized for commercial fishing access.

We will be in BURGEO at 2:00pm at the Upper Deck on Tuesday, December 9th.

This does not have to be limited to fishing areas, but can also be common transit routes, feeding areas, productive habitats. Essentially ANY MARINE AREA YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE/SACRIFICE TO CONSERVATION OR INDUSTRY AND WHY. No such database currently exists and we want to be able to show governments and other stakeholders a map of our claimed space along the southwest coast.

Please be prepared to spend time marking up maps. Secretary Treasurer Jamie Baker, new 3Ps member rep Crystal Lynn Gorman and Industry Relations Representative Katie Power will be in attendance.
