ST. MARY’S BAY SCALLOP AND LOBSTER MEETING

There will be a Scallop and Lobster meeting for St. Mary’s Bay (LFA 9 and Scallop Fishing Area 9) on Tuesday October 15th at 1:00pm at the Legion in Riverhead. All Scallop and Lobster Harvesters are invited to attend. Member Representative Miranda Butler will be in attendance but it’s also an opportunity to meet Ian Ivany, who will be replacing Miranda for her parental leave this fall. An official St. Mary’s Bay Scallop Committee will be formed at this time and a re-election of the SMB Lobster Committee will occur. Lobster meetings for all other 3L areas will be announced in the coming weeks as well.
