Member Meetings

FFAW will be holding a meeting for all LFA 11 lobster license holders on Wednesday January 24th at 2:00PM at the Lion’s Club in Harbour Breton. The discussion will be around policy issues in the lobster fishery. Member representative Dwan Street and Secretary-Treasurer Jason Spingle will be in attendance.

FFAW will be holding a meeting for all interested fish harvesters at the Star of the Sea hall in Placentia on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11 am. Member Representative Dwan Street and Secretary-Treasurer Jason Spingle will be in attendance.

There will be a meeting for all LFA 11 license holders on Tuesday, January 16 at 1 pm at the Marystown Hotel to discuss current policy issues. All harvesters are urged to attend. Member Representative Dwan Street and Secretary-Treasurer Jason Spingle will be in attendance.

FFAW is holding a meeting for all fish harvesters from Frederickton to Cape Freels in Musgrave Harbour on Tuesday, January 28 at 10 am at the Firehall.

There will be general membership meeting for harvesters in Petite Forte this Friday, March 31st. All harvesters are encouraged to attend. Staff representative Dwan Street will be in attendance.

There will be a general membership meeting for harvesters in Burgeo on Saturday, April 8th at 11:30. A new Chair of the fishermen’s committee will be elected. Staff representative Dwan Street will be in attendance.

DFO will be holding the 3PS Sea Cucumber advisory on Tuesday, March 21st at 9am at the Quality Inn in Gander. All fleet members are urged to attend
