TRINITY BAY CRAB FLEET MEETING RESCHEDULED
FFAW has rescheduled the Jan. 31st meeting for ALL Crab Harvesters in 3L 6A, Trinity Bay. The NEW MEETING DATE IS Monday, Feb. 5, 2024 at 10am at the Lions Club in Whitbourne.
A Brief Market Update and the previous and upcoming crab seasons will be discussed. This will include a discussion on the Strategic Team Review Report released in November.
There will be a re-election of the Crab Committee at this time.
Representatives Miranda Butler and Jason Spingle will be in attendance.
3L 9A CRAB FLEET MEETING
FFAW will be holding a meeting for ALL Crab Harvesters in 3L 9A, St. Mary’s Bay Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 at 1:30pm at the Legion in Riverhead.
A Brief Market Update and the previous and upcoming crab seasons will be discussed. This will include a discussion on the Strategic Team Review Report released in November.
TUNA FLEET MEETING
FFAW will be holding a meeting for all FFAW Bluefin Tuna Fish Harvesters on Jan. 25th at 10am at the Comfort Inn in St. John’s. A hybrid-option is available for active Tuna harvesters upon request to mbutler@ffaw.ca A formal committee will be elected at this time.

3L SMALL SUPP CRAB FLEET MEETING
FFAW will be holding a meeting for Crab Harvesters in the 3L Small Supp Fleet Friday, Jan. 26, 2024 at 10am at the Lions Club in Whitbourne.

3L 8A CRAB FLEET MEETING
FFAW will be holding a meeting for Inshore crab fishers in Crab Fishing Area 8A.
Friday, Jan. 19 at 10am at the hall in Cape Broyle.
The Precautionary Approach, a Brief Market Update and the previous and upcoming crab seasons will be discussed. Member Representative Miranda Butler and Secretary-Treasurer Jason Spingle will be in attendance.
3L 6C CRAB FLEET MEETING
FFAW will be holding a meeting for Inshore crab fishers in Crab Fishing Area 6C.

AREA 9 AND 10 MOBILE HERRING MEETING
FFAW will be holding a meeting for all mobile gear license holders in area 9 and 10 on Wednesday Nov. 22nd at 10am at the Lions Club in Whitbourne. A new herring committee will be formed at this time. Season opening and closing dates will also be decided. Member Reps Dwan Street and Miranda Butler will be in attendance.
