COVID-19 COMMUNITY MEETING CANCELLATIONS

Due to recent preventative measures put in place by the Department of Health, the upcoming meetings for harvesters on the Connaigre Peninsula, Bay of Islands, and the West Coast have been cancelled and will be rescheduled when conditions for gatherings are restored:

Connaigre Peninsula

Monday February 15th:
2PM – Hermitage Lion’s Club (Harvesters from Seal Cove to Hermitage)
7PM – Southern Port Motel, Harbour Breton (Harvesters from Hr. Breton area)

Tuesday February 16th:
10AM – Boxey Community Centre (Harvesters from English Hr. West to Wreck Cove)
2PM –St. Jacques Community Centre (Harvesters from St. Jacques to Belleoram)

Bay of Islands & West Coast

Tuesday, February 16
2PM – Royal Canadian Legion, Stephenville (Harvesters from Mainland to Fox Island River)
7PM – Royal Canadian Legion, Stephenville (Harvesters from St. Teresa/Flat Bay to Cape St. George)

Reminder: Mowi meeting in Harbour Breton about proposed sites west of Francois

This is a reminder to harvesters in the Harbour Breton area that Mowi will be having a meeting at 10 am tomorrow, Tuesday August 23^rd, to consult with harvesters about the proposed added sites west of Francois – three in Aviron & LaHune Bay and three in Bay de Vieux. All harvesters are urged to attend.

POSTPONED Sentinel Fishery Information/Recruiting Session in Burgeo

UPDATE MARCH 25, 2022 – THIS MEETING HAS BEEN POSTPONED AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED AT A LATER DATE.

Please be advised there will be an FFAW Sentinel Fishery Information/Recruiting Session in Burgeo at 10:30am on Friday, March 25th, at the 50 Plus Club.

CANCELLED-General Membership Meeting_Baie Verte

Due to unforeseen circumstances this meeting have been cancelled and will be re-scheduled at a later date

FFAW will be holding a General Membership Meeting in Baie Verte on Thursday, Feb. 24th at the Royal Canadian Legion at 7:00 PM.As per requirements- Vax Pass and Masks are required to attend all meetings.Monty Way-Staff Representative and Robert Keenan- Secretary Treasurer will be in attendance.If any questions, please contact the FFAW office in Corner Brook at (709) 634-0277.

DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES THIS MEETING HAVE BEEN CANCELLED AND WILL BE RE-SCHEDULED AT A LATER DATE.

FFAW will be holding a General Membership Meeting in South Brook on Thursday, Feb. 24th at the Town Hall at 2:00 PM.

As per requirements- Vax Pass and Masks are required to attend all meetings.
