Capelin Prices 2020

The Standing Fish Price Setting Panel today released its decision on capelin prices for 2020. The Panel selected the FFAW price of 42 cents for Grade “A” capelin, a 20% increase over 2019 prices. Accordingly, all prices on the capelin price table will also be increased by 20%.

Over the past two years, capelin collective bargaining has increased prices by 68% over 2018 levels.

Thanks again to the negotiation committee for its important and detailed work. In a difficult year, it is important that we are still able to move prices forward.
