AREA 11 LOBSTER COMMITTEE SEEKING AREA 11W REPRESENTATION

April 22, 2026

The Area 11 Lobster Committee is being expanded to ensure equal representation for all parts of the area, with two new seats being added. These positions are open to harvesters who reside in Area 11W (West of Western Head, Hare Bay).

The current committee will remain in place, and this expansion will ensure more balance moving forward. Expressions of interest will be accepted until May 1st.

If more than two expressions of interest are received, a vote will be held.

If you are interested in putting you name forward or would like more information, please reach out to Area Rep Crystal-Lynn Gorman at clgorman@ffaw.ca or 709-690-8803.
