UPDATE: Inshore Council Election Procedure

In accordance with the Constitutional Constitution, Article X, Section 4(i)
“ All members in good standing working under the jurisdiction to be represented by a committee member shall be eligible to nominate and vote for the committee member.”
Should a card holding member hold a fishing license in a different area from their residential address and wish to receive a ballot for their working jurisdiction, they can follow the steps below:
- Contact the office to request the working jurisdiction ballot forms.
- Request and sign an affidavit that will waive their right to a vote in their residential area and swearing they work from the specific wharf in the Inshore Council District.
- Return their residential area ballot.
- Enterprise owner would provide signed purchase slips acknowledging the relevant landing port.
- Crew members would need to provide two settlement sheets listing the vessel.
All ballots must be received in the envelope provided no later than April 13, 2022.
