2021 NL ELECTION UPDATE

The recent spike of COVID-19 cases in the province has prompted the decision for Public Health to take measures back to Alert Level 5. Elections NL has made changes to in-person voting and you must apply for a special Mail-In Ballot for the provincial election HERE: https://apps.gov.nl.ca/elections/Form/Form/Edit/…
What you need to know:
- The Deadline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot: 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 19.
- The Deadline for a completed voting kit to be received at Elections NL is Friday, March 5.
- An application must be completed with identification that proves your name and address must be included (such as a piece of certified mail or driver’s license).
- When the application is processed, Elections NL will mail you a special ballot voting kit, along with instructions. When you receive the special ballot voting kit and complete the contents, return it to Elections NL in the supplied envelope.
