September 24, 2025

***Crab harvesters in Crab Management Area 3Ps10A only

Priority given to those harvesters between St. Bride’s and Little Barasway***

Harvesters were notified of the opportunity to participate in the 2025 snow crab survey by mail in May 2025. Additionally, the opportunity was advertised through direct emails, our Facebook, and our webpage. An opportunity has arisen to complete block 10A3 with compensation from the snow crab survey stabilization subsidy. All 10A snow crab harvesters may apply, but priority will be given to those with homeports between St. Bride’s and Little Barasway.

A map, eligibility requirements, and application form are attached. The deadline for applications is Friday, 26 September, at 12pm.

The successful applicant will be offered a choice of a base charter amount or a cash subsidy in addition to the original allocation of 4500lbs for successful completion of the full block.
