Mobile Gear Herring Fishery Opening in Bonavista Bay, Conception Bay and the Southern Shore (HFA 5, 7 and 8)
DFO advises that the Mobile Gear (Purse Seine) Herring fishery will open on Monday, November 18, 2024 at 0600 hours in Bonavista Bay, Conception Bay and the Southern Shore (Herring Fishing Areas 5, 7 and 8).
The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2024-262 has been revoked and Variation Order 2024-299 comes into effect on November 16, 2024.
