Sampling opportunity for lumpfish harvesters: DFO Science is interested in collecting baseline information on the distribution and genetic structure of lumpfish around the province. This project was prompted by the use of lumpfish as a “cleaner fish” in aquaculture.

If you are fishing lumpfish this season and are interested in this opportunity, please contact FFAW at 576-7276 for additional information.
