Lobster Negotiations Update

April 6, 2022

Negotiations were held this week for lobster prices for the 2022 season. No deal was reached and the parties will present to the Standing Fish Price Setting Panel tomorrow morning.

The ASP position is Urner Barry minus 15 cents, which reverts the formula back to where it existed before last year.

The FFAW position is full Urner Barry with no deductions.

We expect the Panel to provide a decision on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

Thank you to the negotiation committee for very hard work this week.
