FFAW-Unifor, as the official representative of commercial fish harvesters in Newfoundland and Labrador, acts as liaison with the energy industry when such developments or activities have direct or indirect impacts on commercial fishing. The Union is supportive of a green energy transition; however such developments can never come at the expense of the fishing industry.
