Sea Cucumber Price – 2023

FFAW and ASP have reached an agreement on sea cucumber for the 2023 season.  The agreement is for $0.74/lb with a flat 34 % water deduction.  The agreement also guarantees harvesters a 10% tolerance for under 4” sea cucumber.  This agreement ensures a 2023 fishery at a time when challenges persist with other species here in Newfoundland.  We appreciate the negotiation committee during this very challenging negotiation.
