Economic Support Proposal Campaign

Federal Minister Carla Qualtrough rejected the Union’s request for changes to Employment Insurance qualifications this year. Help is still needed for those facing a 70% drop in earnings this year.
The Union’s Economic Support Proposal for fish harvesters including owner-operators and crew members, plant workers and other affected fishery workers. This income supplement will help those maintain their connection to the fishery, to remain in their communities until next season.
Call your MP and MHA and let them know this help is needed.
