Applications being accepted for green crab harvesting in Placentia Bay

FFAW is now accepting applications for the harvesting of green crab in Placentia Bay as part of Marine Institute’s Coastal Restoration Project. Applications are being accepted for the following sites:

1. North Harbour
2. Swift Current
3. Baine Harbour and Bay De L’Eau
4. St. Joseph’s
5. Northeast Arm Placentia
6. Southeast Arm Placentia
7. Fox Harbour and Placentia Sound

Harvesters must willing fish 5 days a week (hauling twice a day) from July-August 31, 2 days a week from September-November 30^th, and 1 day a week from December-March 31^st.
