3Ps Cod Rollover

Today, DFO announced that Canada and France reached an agreement with the total allowable catch rolling over for the 2022 3Ps cod fishery. Harvesters are pleased with a rollover after experiencing significant cuts to the resource over many years, however concerns remain regarding high rates of natural mortality – particularly as a result of seal predation.
