3Ks Shrimp Cap Lifted

August 27, 2020

The 3Ks shrimp committee have reviewed the Cap and effective immediately the Cap for 3Ks Shrimp Harvesters has been lifted. This is in accordance with the fleet meeting in February, where it had been decided as a fleet that effective September 1, 2020 the Cap would be lifted if Quota remained. This has been an unprecedented year and as a result the committee agreed to lift the Cap effective August 27, 2020.

Any questions, please contact Brenda Pieroway at the FFAW office in Corner Brook at (709) 634-0277 or Roland Hedderson (709) 766-0885.
