FFAW is holding a community meeting on Monday, February 10 at 2:00 pm at the Fire Hall in Greenspond.
Please note that FFAW’s Petroleum Industry Liaison, Robyn Lee, will also be in attendance to consult with harvesters regarding new oil and gas exploration drilling projects in the region. Harvester feedback regarding oil and gas activities is a vital part of the consultation process.
All harvesters from this area are encouraged to attend.
FFAW will be holding the following meetings for Inshore crab fishers in Bonavista Bay:
Tuesday, January 28 at 10:00 am Tues Jan 28 at 10:00 am at the SUF Hall in Eastport
Tuesday, January 28 at 2:00 pm at the Lions Club in Trinity
Wednesday, January 29 at 1:00 pm at the SUF in Bonavista
Committee elections will be held and DFO will be in attendance.
FFAW will be holding meetings for Inshore crab fishers in Trinity Bay on Monday, January 27:
10:00 am at the Comfort Inn (St. Judes) in Clarenville and
2:30 pm at the Rec. Center Hearts Content
FFAW is holding a meeting for 6C and 8A inshore crab harvesters on Tuesday, November 12 at 1 pm at the Ramada St. John’s to discuss a proposal for a new Precautionary Approach for snow crab.
