Reminder – Bluefin tuna fishery open by Permit Only

 

DFO advises that the Bluefin Tuna fishery in NAFO Divisions 3KLNOP is open by permit only for vessels with 2021 Bluefin tuna tag numbers:

 

2205, 2323, 2084, 2023, 2095 and tags in the series 2144 through 2170.

 

Licence conditions can be obtained through DFO’s National On-line Licencing System for those harvesters who have been contacted.

 

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2021-267 has been revoked and Variation Order 2021-274 comes into effect at 1800 hours on September 20, 2021.
