Redfish Fishery Closing In Unit 1 to the Inshore Mobile Gear Fleet Based in Western Newfoundland

 

DFO advises that the Unit 1 Redfish index fishery in NAFO Division 4R will close to the inshore mobile gear fleet based in Western Newfoundland (Vessel Classes C405, C406, C422, C437, and C440) at 2000 hrs on September 15, 2021.  The quota for this fleet is expected to be taken by closing time.

 

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2021-265 has been revoked and Variation Order 2021-268 comes into effect on September 15, 2021.
