CAPELIN FIXED GEAR FISHERY CLOSING IN A PORTION OF AREA 14

DFO advises that the Capelin fixed gear fishery using traps and bar seine (including modified bar seine known as “tuck seine”), for vessels less than 65 feet (19.8m) will close in the Big Brook to Cape Bauld area on June 26,2020 at 2000 hours.

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Regions gives notice that Variation Order 2020-099 has been revoked and Variation Order 2020-100 comes into effect at 1700 hours on June 26, 2020.
