2021 Homewaters Bluefin Tuna Fishery Reopening by Permit Only

 

DFO advises that the Bluefin Tuna fishery in NAFO Divisions 3KLNOP will open by permit only at 0600 hours on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 for vessels with 2021 Bluefin tuna tag numbers:

 

2205, 2323, 2084, 2023 and tags in the series 2144 through 2170.

 

 

 

Licence conditions can be obtained through DFO’s National On-line Licencing System for those harvesters who have been contacted.

 

The Regional Director General, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Newfoundland and Labrador Region gives notice that Variation Order 2021-263 has been revoked and Variation Order 2021-267 comes into effect at 0600 hours on September 15, 2021.
