FFAW is holding a meeting for all fish harvesters in Jeffrey’s on Tuesday, January 14 at 2:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion.

GREENLAND HALIBUT (TURBOT) FISHERY CLOSING IN NAFO DIVISION 4RST
- DFO advises that the Greenland Halibut (turbot) fixed gear fishery in NAFO Division 4RST, in all water depths will close for vessels less than 65 feet based in NAFO Divisions 4R3Pn at 2000 hrs on Sunday, October 18, 2020.
COD FISHERY OPENING IN NAFO DIVISION 4RS3Pn
- DFO advises that the competitive fixed gear Cod fishery (AGC) in NAFO Division 4RS and sub-Division 3Pn, will open at 0600 on October 20, 2020.
COD FISHERY OPENING IN NAFO DIVISIONS 4RS AND SUB-DIVISION 3Pn
- DFO advises that the directed competitive Cod fishery in NAFO Divisions 4RS and sub-Division 3Pn, for fixed gear vessels less than 65 feet, using six gillnets or 2000 hooks, will open 0600 hrs on October 19, 2020 and close at 1800 hrs on October 19, 2020.
